In this 2 night workshop participants will complete a mosaic flower pot. Using a terra cotta pot as their base and colorful stained glass and broken dishes as their tile, students will gain a glimpse into the process of mosaic art. Through lecture and hands on work, participants learn about the bases, adhesives and tiles appropriate in basic mosaic art and how to grout for a completed unique functional art piece.
This is a 2 night workshop, however students can decide to come back the second night for a hands on lesson in grouting their piece or the instructor can grout the piece for them, to be picked up later.
This class was rescheduled from the original date on June 21 and 22.
