Nature Mandalas in Glass at ArtisTree

In this 4-night workshop we will explore mosaic art through the creation of a beautiful nature mandala. A mandala is generally a circle decorated with imagery which directs the mind inward toward a deeper reflection of self or the universe. We will embrace the patterns found in nature.

In this 4-night workshop we will explore mosaic art through the creation of a beautiful nature mandala. A mandala is a circle decorated with imagery which directs the mind inward toward a deeper reflection of self or the universe. We will embrace the patterns found in nature as we allow our personal designs to flow and take shape. Through this deeper artistic process we also learn to work with glass and the tools and methods to cut and shape it into various patterns, specifically floral and plant like patterns. We will also complete your artworks with the grouting process.
